Where are your meetings? We hold our meetings in the IUPUI Campus Center. Directions are available here: http://www.iupui.edu/~sldweb/campus-center/visit/maps.html What is Rotaract?
Through the Rotaract program, young adults not only augment their own knowledge and skills, but they also address the physical and social needs of their communities while promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service. With more than 7,600 Rotaract clubs in some 150 countries, Rotaract members have a unique opportunity to positively affect both their local community and communities all over the world. Through joint projects, networking opportunities, and financial support, our sponsoring Rotary Club offers IUPUI Rotaract members a unique opportunity to become engaged in the Indianapolis community. Learn more about our sponsoring Rotary Club at http://www.indyrotary.org Club MissionRotaract Clubs vary by location, size, and resources; however, all clubs attempt to address four major focus areas:
Typical community service projects include tutoring area students, working with Habitat for Humanity, serving meals to the homeless, recycling, participating in campus-wide projects, and working with local community organizations. Rotaract Clubs also work with their sponsoring Rotary Club(s) on their various community projects. Rotaract members are also encouraged to work on joint projects with Rotaract Clubs in other parts of the world or to conduct fundraising for international organizations like UNICEF. Rotaract also offers the opportunity to attend district, regional, and international conferences to network with Rotaractors from other parts of the world. Because of Rotaract's close ties with Rotary, club members also have unique opportunities to network with local community and business leaders. Club Goals
